In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Al-salam 'alaykum, my dearest brother Muhammad Abdul Qadir (Michael Green). May the peace and blessings of God be upon us all. My love you (anbu). Thank you very much for a copy of your recent letter to Asma'el Muhaiyaddeen (Rick Hacket). It was very nice to hear from you. You are a very good Child of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him). You must never forget that. 1. ...... And You Started To Smile Again, And Everything Was Ok Again I always remember you when I think about the night that our Father left the world, December 8, 1986. We had all gathered that night, not knowing that anything different would happen from any other night that we had gathered in that way, with Bawa always recovering from His near death experiences. But that night was very different, unknown to us. That night was very, very, different. You and this child shared a very wonderful lesson that night. Let me tell you about it. It really changed my life and gave me the strength to carry on. Around 8 PM that night you came down stairs, went on the little stage, and started to talk to us. You were very comforting, because all reports were that Bawa was very, very sick. In fact there were reports that earlier in the day Bawa's heart had actually stopped, but had then started up again. Which is something we had never experienced before. Anyway, after talking to us for a while, you read something from Bawa, and you finished with the following quote from the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), "It is all a dream. It is not real. What's next." Later that night we were told that Bawa had passed away, and we all went up to His room, where some of the boys were praying over Bawa's body, saying Arabic prayers, which for most of us were very foreign. You were sitting right next to me in the room and you started to cry, which made me sad. What I did next was one of the great lessons of my life. I started to talk to Bawa in my heart and handed your crying, and my sadness to Him, with the intention that He, like any good Father, would fix it, would make it all right again. And He did. And Bawa said to me, very clearly, "Tell Michael what he had just told you, give him back the same words that he spoke to you earlier." And I did. I leaned over to you, and very gently and sweetly, with a happy voice, whispered into your ear, "It is all a dream. It is not real. What's next." And you looked up at me, stopped crying, and started to smile. Everything was ok again. Al-hamdu lillah - all praise and praising be to God and to God alone. Allahu Akbar - only God is great. 2. Questions of Life - Answers of Wisdom You have asked some very good questions, in response to the distribution of the "Resonance of Allah" poster by our dear brother Asma'el Muhaiyaddeen, questions that need to be addressed. When this child read these questions, just like the night Bawa passed, this child handed these questions to our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), with the intention that He, like any good Father, would fix it, would make it all right again. And He did. As a result, the following answers have come into my heart, and at Bawa request are now being shared with you, and with everyone else who reads this. 3-a. First Question Posed By Muhammad Abdul Qadir (Michael Green), living at the feet of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him): "An esthetic quibble. For me, conceptually, the flat-out Arabesque theme of the poster nails Bawa down a little too firmly in the exotic "otherness" of Middle-eastern Arabian "orientalism." Although he personally liked this kind of decoration, his message--and being--was universal. How to reflect that?" 3-b. Answer Proposed by Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Louie Beutler), living at the feet of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him): We, as the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us), are the only proper reflection of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him). This is the only way that He can be correctly shown to anyone in the world, everything else is but a painting of the apple and has no taste. This is the point of the coming of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (my God be pleased with Him) into our lives, to transform us into Him, to bring us to maturity so we become His taste to the whole world, so we as His reflection, as His taste, can help everyone in the world also transform into Him, into Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him). This is our true path and our correct work. Everything else is just part of the dream, and is not real. First we must become "Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen", then "Shaikh Muhammad Muhaiyaddeen", then "Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Muhaiyaddeen", and finally "Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen" (may God be pleased with Him). May we both walk this path together, my dearest brother. That is why we were born, not to live in the world, but to learn in the world, and having learned, to leave this world and again become One with God, and to do all of this before we die, because nothing can change in our life or in our state after we die. This is the true meaning of shari'at, tariqat, haqiqat, and ma'rifat, the four steps of spiritual ascendance. In this way, we sat in front of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) for everyone else, not for us, but we will only take on this state when we truly become everyone else, not us, not "us" as "separate from" God, as "separate from" from everyone else, and as "separate from" from the Creation of God that God has personally placed within each of us. My dearest loving brother Muhammad Abdul Qadir, may we both reflect on this beautiful wisdom point a little. It is very important. May we both step out to do this Divine work in the world, this work of becoming and being Bawa Muhaiyaddeen to the world (may God be pleased with Him), as the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us), becoming the sweet taste of the apple, rather than trying to paint pictures of the apple, rather than trying to tell people in the world about Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him). May we both step out to become the beauty of the heart (aham) reflected in the face (muham), the state known as Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of God be upon Him), rather than trying to show people just the right picture of Bawa. We must realize, my dearest loving brother, that this art work is not our true path or our correct work. 4-a. Second Question Posed By Muhammad Abdul Qadir (Michael Green), living at the feet of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him): "Monotheistic religion (the doctrine or belief that there is but one God) has come under a lot of fairly justified attack of late from the environmental community. The out of context quote 'when love for earth has been cast away,' only reinforces their fears. Needs explanation in age of earth-hating, clear-cutting, strip-mining and strip-mauling." And the implied question that you seem to be asking, behind this observation, is, "How do we join together to calm the fears of the environmental community through the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him)?" 4-b. Answer Proposed by Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Louie Beutler), living at the feet of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him): We must first realize that the environmental community is "within us", not "outside" of us, as all of our brothers and sisters are "within us" not "outside" of us, and as such they are us, not "separate from" us, and that their concern is valid, that their fear for their life, for their own existence is a very valid fear, but that the only thing that will truly make their fear go away is God, not anything that we can say to them, or show them, or do for them in the world, in the world that we all see as existing "outside" of us. This is the great gift of God for this age, this age of the Rahim, when God pulls everything back into Himself, from which everything has come, this gift of God for this age known as the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), that God has personally placed within each of us, including within everyone within the environmental community. This is why God has sent Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), and each of the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us) into the world at this time, to prepare the world for the end of the world, as we currently know it, and the beginning of the world as it is known by God. All of us, as the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us) have come into the world to do this Divine work, not to build a life here, but to prepare everything and everyone for the end of the world, not to make the world a better place in which to live, because that time is over. That type of work may have been appropriate in the age of the Rahman, when God ruled over His creation, preparing it for the age of the Rahim, preparing it for when God would pull everything back into Himself. But that work of the age of the Rahman is now done. Now we are all ready to again become One with God, whether we know it or not, whether we like it or not. This is the point of the coming of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) and the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us) into the world at this time, nothing else. The Rahim, nothing else. We must realize this, without the slightest doubt. Now starts the work of the Rahim, that we were all created to join with God within us to complete. And nothing that has come before is any longer appropriate, whether we call it Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Christianity, or Islam. With the coming of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen into the world (may God be pleased with Him), with His coming to America, with His awakening His Children within Him, with His raising His Children within Him, with His leaving the world, and with the maturing of His Children within Him over the last 16 years, now it is time. Let the age of Rahim begin within each of us. Bawa explained this beautifully to us one day, when He told us, "At the end of time, all that is left is God and what has separated from God, and what separates from God is that which repeatedly says to God, by their every word, action, thought, and deed, 'I am separate from God', although God repeatedly shows them to the very end to the contrary." In this way, my dearest loving brother, it is we who separate ourselves from God, not God. It is we who make the decision to live an eternal life of separation from God, not God. It is we who cause us to go to hell, not God. Because God has already made His choice, and His choice is "oneness with" man. Now we must decide between "oneness with" God, or "separation from" God. There is no other choice. Anything else that we think is a choice is really just a form of "separation from" God. In a similar way, Bawa teaches us, "At the end of time, which is now, which is the end of the Kali Yuga, the yuga or age of destruction, the last of the 4 yugas, with each yuga being 50 million years, completing the cycle of God, the 200 million year cycle since the coming of Adam into the world (may the blessings of God be upon Him), God would send One who would explain again everything that had been explained by God before, but this time with no veils." "Everyone would hear it, and everyone would understand it, and all that will be left is do they want it, do they want God or separation from God, do that want a life as "one with" God or as "separate from" God. That is the only choice left. My dearest loving brother. Please forgive me if any of this offends you, or upsets you, or any of your family or friends, in any way. But it is the truth. We have come into this world, this earth world, where everything that appears on the earth is maya, is illusion, we have come here to prepare everything and everyone living in the world to be absorbed back into God, to leave the illusion and enter the reality that is God, from which we have all come. And we do this by providing them with an explanation of life that calms their fears, their fears of being destroyed, allowing them to let their own life end, an explanation of life that allows them to transcend their own life of "separation and difference" before they die, that allows them to escape from an eternal life of "separation from" God, and to escape from the suffering of the grave, which is our fate if this transcending is not done before we die. That allows them to call for their own destruction, realizing that in their ending, in the end of themselves as "separate from" God, as they are currently experiencing themselves, lies another life, a better life, a life of "oneness with" God, a life that is eternal, the life of the soul joined with wisdom, known as Qutb Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), and within that, the life of God known as the Nur Muhammad, the light of our wisdom, the body of our soul, the light of God to the world. This is why His Holiness gave us the following prayer, which He told us to say every day, "O my Father, my Shaikh, my Guru, I need your love, please, please, please destroy me, and reveal You. "Destroy me as separate from you, and you as separate from me, and reveal Me as One with You and You as One with Me." "Destroy the life of separation and differences that You have given me, and reveal the life of Oneness and Unity, of Justice and Truth, and of Compassion and Unity, that You have also given me. Amen, Amen, Ya Rabil Alameen. Amen, Amen, Ya Rahman Alameen. Amen, Amen, Ya Rahim Alameen. Al-hamdu lillah. Allahu Akbar. This is the only message to the environmental community that will remove their fear, not trying to save endangered animals, or threatened environments, but to show them how to turn away from the world that we all now see as existing "outside" of us, and instead turn to God within us, within the wisdom of God within us, within the life and teaching of God for this age, within the life and teaching of our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen within us (may God be pleased with Him). And in this way, to show them how to invite God to complete what He has started within each of us, which is to reveal God within God within each of us, by inviting our Shaikh, our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) within us, which is our wisdom within us, to complete what He has started within each of us, which is to reveal True Man within the Creation of God within us, within this world or the dunya within us, allowing True Man to reveal God within the Creation of True Man within us, within the hereafter or akhirah within us. This is our work in the world, my dearest loving brother Muhammad Abdul Qudir, to comfort the environmental community, and all such communities, which in truth are the societies of hell, by showing them how to talk to God within themselves, not by us talking to them in the world, by showing them how to access their wisdom, how to access within themselves all of the things of God that have grown and are growing within us, within the Children of God for this age, within the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us), not by us showing them pictures of Bawa, pictures of the apple, which have no taste, but by showing them how to open up all of the things that God has personally placed within each of us, as His seeds, as the Seeds of God grace. And by showing them how to germinate the Seeds of God's grace within themselves, not talk to them about those seeds, the Seeds of God Grace which when they germinate and grow within us allow us to understand what God is doing within us, allow us to join with God within us to complete God's intention within us, which is to reveal God within us, by first revealing True Man within us. And in this way, allowing everyone in the environmental community, and in all communities of the world, to understand and protect the world of God within them, not to understand and protect the illusory world that we currently see as existing "outside" of us, and allowing them to understand, protect, and transcend all of the Creation of God in the 18,000 universes within us, not trying to hold onto the illusory creations of man that we now see as existing "outside" of us. This is our real work, the Divine work of the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us), my dearest loving brother, to comfort their fears, by understanding their fears in the light of truth and through that light to guide them out of their current state of existence, out of an existence that is "separate from" God, "separate from" each other, and "separate from" the Creations of God that God has personally placed within each of us, allowing them to once again live as "one with" God, as "one with" each other", and as "one with" the Creation of God within them, all occurring within the heart of our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen, within each of us (may God be pleased with Him). This is the work of the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us), to reflect in our face the light of God for this age, to reflect the light of the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen to the world within us (may God be pleased with Him), not to join with their fears, not to become one of the members of the environmental community, or any similar communities, that live out their life in the world that we see as existing "outside" of us, in fear of losing their life, in fear of losing the world "outside" of us, "separate from" God, "separate from" each other", and "separate from" the true Creation of God within them. And as a result, only to get when they die, for all of their efforts in this "outside" world, an eternal life of "separation from" God, of "separation from" each other, and of "separation from" the Creation of God within them, only to get when they die, the truth underlying their life of separation and differences in this "outside" world, the truth behind the lives that they have tried so hard to save, which is all of the lives of darkness, ignorance, and impurity hidden within them. Only to get this as their reward, rather than joining with their wisdom, rather than joining with their Shaikh, with the light of God within them, with the life and teaching of God within them for this age, to end all these lives of darkness, ignorance, and impurity within them before they die, revealing in the process the life of light, wisdom, and purity within them, which is their true life. But instead of this, if they don't join with the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen within them (may God be pleased with Him) to do this Divine work within them, before they die, they will end up with the truth behind the life of separation and differences that they experienced in the world of illusion within them, the lives of darkness, ignorance, and impurity, which becomes when they die the suffering of their grave. Such is their fate, is the fate of all of us, if we do not do and complete this Divine work within us, before we die. This is the work of the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us), my dearest loving brother, to help people leave the world, not to help them live in the world better, to help people truly understand "who they are", "where they are", and "what is happening" in their life, to help people join with the life and teaching of God for this age, with the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen within them (may God be pleased with Him), in order to liberate their soul from the cross of their elemental body, to pull out the 5 nails of desire for the world of illusion within them, that we mistakenly in our ignorance see as existing "outside" of us. This is our only true work, my dearest brother, to join with our wisdom, to separate ourselves again into the 7 heavens and the 7 hells, to discard the 7 hells, and to search within the 7 heavens for God, and in this way to separate God from the Goodness of God within us, to find and join with the light of our wisdom, with the Nur Muhammad, revealing the 8th heaven or firdaus within us, making our life eternal. For as His Holiness told us one day, "I haven't come for you, I have come for your soul, to awaken the wisdom surrounding the soul, so the wisdom surrounding the soul can do battle with the enemy of the soul." And when this child heard this, I immediately asked Bawa, "Who is the enemy of my soul?" And Bawa looked right at me and said, "You are!"
